WOW DAVAO! Converge Ignites Month-Long Digital Festival for Araw ng Dabaw

DAVAO CITY — As the city marks the 89th Araw ng Dabaw, leading fiber broadband provider Converge ICT Solutions kicked off “Wow Davao!”, a month-long digital celebration highlighting music, gaming, and community engagement across the city.

The festival was officially launched on March 12, 2026, gathering members of the Davao media and partners from across Mindanao. During the event, Converge also awarded Smart TVs to lucky Davaoeño subscribers as part of the culmination of its nationwide “Christmas to the Power of X” raffle, thanking customers who continue to support the company’s growing network in the region.

Several exciting activities are lined up throughout March. On March 15, the “Hugyaw Dabaw Sound Xperience” will bring live music to Rizal Park, featuring performers such as Oh! Caraga, Delinquent Society, Tatot Band, The Hightimes, The Dukes, and DJ Dale Castillo. Meanwhile, the gaming community will take center stage on March 22 with the “Dula! Dabawenyo” esports festival at SM City Davao.

The celebration continues on March 26 with Geeky Nights by Converge at Tiger Sports + Bar, featuring gamer and celebrity Myrtle Sarrosa for the launch of the GameChanger EZ Plan 1800, a fiber internet package designed specifically for gamers. On the same day, Converge will also open its Matina Crossing Business Center, giving Davaoeños a dedicated space for customer service and support.

To cap off the celebration, the company will host a Surf2Sawa community day on March 28 at the Bucana Covered Court, bringing free entertainment, community activities, and prizes—including one year of free fiber internet for selected families.
